5 Red, White and Blue Adult Slushy Recipes

You don’t have to drink high fructose corn syrup and artificial dyes to relive your childhood memories of slurping slushies from the 7-Eleven. You can make your own slushies at home. And the best part is you can add vodka or wine to relive your memory with extra style. Try one of these red, white or blue adult slushy recipes for your Fourth of July barbecue…or, right now!

Note: If you’re in a rush, you can shorten the freezing time by using already frozen berries instead of fresh. And to make these recipes sans alcohol, just blend your frozen cubes with extra juice, lemonade or limeade instead of vodka or wine.

All slushy recipes yield 2 quarts, about 8 servings.
