About Lucinda Roanoke

Lucinda Roanoke is an editor and content strategist based in the Pacific Northwest. She's worked on non-profit educational farms, studied nutrition, and taught cooking skills to refugee and immigrant youth. In 2016, she won a Kaplan Award for Narrative Journalism for a piece she wrote about urban food foraging. Her personal passions include powerlifting, swimming outside, and eating everything—but especially raspberries and tomatoes from the garden.
